VCA Design & Production 2021

Intro

We are proud to introduce you to our 2021 graduates from Design and Production, whose work is showcased in this latest edition of the Design and Production Graduate Exhibition website.

Last year saw the launch of this website which marked a significant milestone for Design and Production – it had been something we had been considering for a while, but the need for which became sharply apparent as a result of the pandemic.

Along with the graduates from the BFA (Production) and the Master of Production Design, this year’s website includes graduating students from the two majors offered by Design and Production in the Bachelor of Design – Performance Design and Graphic Design.

It would be hard to find a more committed group of young theatre and film makers and graphic designers than the ones represented here and they have shown a resilience throughout the ever-shifting landscape of the current pandemic that surely proves that they have the resources to thrive in our industry.

We are proud of them all and look forward to seeing them take their places in the professional world to which they all aspire.

Courses

Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production)

The graduates of the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) have completed specialist study in the areas of stage management, design and the realisation of sets, costumes, lighting, sound and projection

Throughout the course students have contributed to the creation of large-scale performances with Music Theatre, Theatre, Acting and Dance students from across the VCA. Their portfolio of work demonstrates their creativity, dedication and readiness to embark on a career in the Performing Arts.
