Rory is a set and props maker based in Naarm/Melbourne, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA).
Rory is a passionately creative person, specialising in theatre, film and live music. Valuing collaborative work environments, he offers a range of skills to his practice, informed by his background in video production and design. Now beginning to work in the theatre and film industries, Rory is excited to implement his practical abilities learned in the production course.
During his time at VCA, Rory is credited as Head of Props for the musical 'The Drowsy Chaperone' (dir. Alister Smith), Head of Staging on 'The Other Shore' (dir. Bernadette Fam), and Lead Workshop Assistant (Staging) for VCA’s 2024 devised work ‘The Dinner Party’.
