Nethmi Gunasekera

is a designer and storyteller whose work weaves between theatre, architecture, and live performance. With a Bachelor of Arts(Hons) in Interior Architecture (University of Northumbria) and Master of Design and Production (Victorian College of the Arts), her practice explores how space, texture, and rhythm shape the emotional language of performance.

Drawing from experience in directing, stage management, set and costume design, a key focus of her work lies in exploring the visual identities of Sri Lankan and Australian theatre, and how the intersection of these two cultures can generate new theatrical languages.
