I am Naomi, a designer who always loves to put a playful spin and add a little bit of fun and unseriousness on my designs. My work often plays around with colour as I think that design should be something can attract the eye. I have developed a strong interest on communicating my work through a colourful and playful aesthetic, embracing and expressing the energy and make my work full of character. For this specific project of “A Copy of A Copy”, my intent is to explore how people misremember famous characters and to question the reliability of memory. Because memories are very malleable, unreliable and easily influenced by multiple factors. I chose 3 characters for people to draw based off of different categories. Then I developed multiple design outcomes such as poster designs and fake merchandise products to showcase the results of the drawings. Overall, as a designer, I aspire to do my best and I also want to explore and experience the endless ways of designing, even if it is outside of my personal style.
