GRADUATE SHOWCASE
This is the backing track to one of the original songs written for my placement in first semester of third year, as Sound Designer and Composer for Attempts on Her Life! The singing has been replaced by the robotic tone sound so that you can still hear how it was meant to sound. The track originally had 5 singing parts all sung on stage by the incredible cast members.

This was a shortened version of a piece I wrote to be used as a transition between scenes for the same show.
Lachlan is an emerging, Melbourne based, sound designer. Lachlan is graduating from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Production in 2025. Within this course, Lachlan mastered the fundamentals of sound design and operation. Also honing his skills in microphone operation and music composition, two components of sound design which he is particularly passionate about. Lachlan’s credits at the VCA include Sound Designer and Composer on 'Attempts on her Life', Sound Designer on 'The Drowsy Chaperone', and Microphone Technician on ‘Curtains’,
This photo is of my second placement at VCA where I was a Microphone Technician for Curtains. It was incredibly informative and helped grow my foundational knowledge of Sound Operation tremendously.
