As an emerging scenic artist based in Naarm/Melbourne, Georgia Formosa is passionate about visually powerful storytelling. Graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA), she specialises in set and props construction. Georgia’s side hustle as a junior doctor enhances her eye for detail, and she brings dedicated craftsmanship to every project. A highlight of her time at the VCA was her collaborative role as Head of Scenic, bringing the vibrant colours of India to Tanika Gupta's 'Great Expectations' (dir. Georgina Naidu), and combining the landlord special with art deco glamour for 'The Drowsy Chaperone' (dir. Alister Smith). Other credits at the VCA include Workshop Assistant and Mechanist for the musical ‘Curtains’ (dir. Roger Hodgman), and Head of Staging for ‘Fountain’ (chor. Phillip Adams) in RISING 2025.
